Bi-Fold Christmas Tree Card

Merry Christmas everyone.  I trust the tree is up and the presents are wrapped.  I wish love and peace for you and yours this season.

...And speaking of tress- here is a little bi-fold card I made using Stephanie Bernard's Christmas tree die and some Waffle Flower rectangle dies.

Make sure the bottom of the tree is even with the bottom of the card so it will stand nicely

Plenty of  room you for adding a message.  I did end up using a simple "Merry Christmas" stamp inside.

Supplies:
Doodlebug papers and stickers, enamel dots, bakers twine glitter paper, cardstock, adhesive, Stephanie Bernard Christmas tree die. Waffle Flower Rectangle dies, stamps, We R Memory Keepers washi chomper (on the "flag")

Gingerbread in Box Cards- Christmas Box cards - I'm Published (sort of...)

A treat for me on these cute Lawn Fawn and Doodelbug  combo box cards is that one was published in the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine! So cool, Right.

Well.... I got a letter from the editor saying they were so sorry but they published my name wrong---Kathleen Stewart vs, Kathleen Sawyer  (sad face)...  but still my card was published!

This is the card that made it in to the magazine!

This is the card for the challenges - was not in magazine

Non the less I think the combination of Lawn Fawn box card die and Doodelbug papers and die-cuts are a sweet combination.

Easter Trio - Always cute with Doodlebug Designs

Thanks for stopping by.   Today's Easter cards are fun and bright  box cards.
Remember, these cuties fold flat for mailing.

Doodlebug Design  have such sweet papers and embellishments

Notice anything wrong?  Silly me.  I didn't notice the sentiment was upside down, until I saw the photo.
The tree in this one was see-through, which did go well with the light behind the layer, do I traced it on white paper and cut it out; placed it behind with some clear no-show adhesive.

This one I made extra large - fits in an 6x9 envelope

Clear shot of all the layers

This just shouts spring to me

Let me know what you think in the comments below.  If you like this blog - please follow and share. -

Oh So Cute Sprintime Easter Cards with DoodleBug Design

I have two super cute  Easter cards for you today.  Let me know what you think....

The Doodlebug odds and ends make it so easy to create

Love the little blue bird in a tree!
I used a few foam squares to pop-up the leaves

Enamel dots are one of my new favorite embellishments.

The Sizzix Framelits Drop-ins (by Stephanie Barnard)  makes such a cute card base!  - A little tricky lining it up (use some tape before running it through the  Cuttlebug).  - well worth the effort !
