Thanksgiving Card - Vintage Flare

A Sweet Little Pilgrim Boy brings softness to the bold Holiday card

This card has so much texture  but comes together nicely with help from a few Anna Griffin Tools.

I have embossed the brown cardstock with one of Anna's fall embossing folders and brushed it with some gold ink (Dew Drop - brilliance - Galaxy Gold).  Then I cut out fall leaves in four coordinating earth-tone fall  colors with one of Anna's leaf  dies.

Topped off the leaves with hemp cord and 2 handsomely textured, coordinating buttons.

I really like the overall welcoming feeling of this card.

Supplies:
Cardstock - Several earth tones  (Cream, Burnt orange, pumpkin, latte, coffee, Dark Brown)
Pattern Paper: Stripped (Old CTMH)
Dies:  Anna Griffin Fall leaves
Embossing folder: Anna Griffin Fall folder
Two buttons
Twine
Ink -Dew Drop - brilliance - Galaxy Gold (to add color to embossed image
Image - Printed vintage postcard
Tombow adhesive

Oh So Cute Sprintime Easter Cards with DoodleBug Design

I have two super cute  Easter cards for you today.  Let me know what you think....

The Doodlebug odds and ends make it so easy to create

Love the little blue bird in a tree!
I used a few foam squares to pop-up the leaves

Enamel dots are one of my new favorite embellishments.

The Sizzix Framelits Drop-ins (by Stephanie Barnard)  makes such a cute card base!  - A little tricky lining it up (use some tape before running it through the  Cuttlebug).  - well worth the effort !
