Crazy Cute Change Purse Card

Love the Crazy Cute Cards available on Cricut Access.  This one is the change purse with gift card holder. It comes with a peacock feather, but I deleted that for this card.

I used five cartridges on this including one to make the "patterned" paper. 
The pattern actually comes from  Cricut Cartridge Word Collage.  I flattened  the coffee collage to print on to the outer cover in a light gold-beige color.  I love the way it turned out - I think the print made it look like a designer end clutch!

I used Don Juan for the "thinking of you" cut but used Love You a Latte to replace the coffee cup that was originally on the cut.  Thought the cup with the heart was much cuter.

 I used Cricut posted board  for the purse closure in a dust gold or champion. - cuts very well for non-detailed cuts. 

The Crazy Cute Cards collection has several adorable cards.  I will be sharing a steampunk one soon, so stay tuned.     I added the  "Love you a latte"  cut from Just Because Cards on the outside of the gift card holder.

This will make a nice card for a friend , I'll just pop-in a Starbucks gift card and ready share a smile.

This cut also comes with an envelope.

Sizing:  I ungrouped the gift card holder from the purse and envelope to resize.

• Strong glue to hold metallic poster board (I use  Aleene's paper glaze)
• Tape runner (I use Tombow Permanent )

"Chillin'" - Hot Summer Colors Challenge

Wanted to share this cute card I posted for the “Hot Summer Color” challenge over on  My craft Spot .  I use some cool colors too– It has been so hot here in Texas (in the 100s this week) – I just had to cool this little penguin down. I think he is so cute! 

Penguin:  From ZooBalloo  (one of three)  with a tweaked beak so he could suck the straw

Papers:  The blue “sky” paper is from a boy stack, that I don’t have the name of.  I used open cardstock and sandpaper for the sand.  I used Prismatic Paper Pack  from Best Occasions for the sun and the shades shinny parts . 
Straw: A little piece of silver elastic ribbon
 

This made a nice card for one of the neighbor boy’s birthday.  Hope you are staying cool in the hot summer “colors”.

Bloom Layout

This is a 2-page layout I made from a card I created for a RAQ’s card challenge (Cricut Board). I made the card too big, but I put a lot of work into it so I still wanted to use it. I cut the card apart and used half on each page. This layout is of my boys in the Texas wild flowers.

I used Design studio to wield flowers on a screen (Cricut does have a cart with a similar flower screen on it – so I worked to hard on this one.)

I use some puff paint for the flower centers.

You can see the card would have been about 10 inches (to big to make an envelope for).
